PANI Nanofiber and Nanoparticles based Nanocomposites for Artificial Muscle Applications (2012-2015) (PI: S. Alkan Gürsel, Advisors: F. Cebeci, M. Papila) supported by TUBITAK-COST Programs
  • PANI fibers have been synthesized in nano size and successfully employed for the development of nanocomposites for artificial muscle applications.
  • The nanocomposites for artificial muscles based on chitosan/PANI containing very low amount of PANI nanofibers have been developed.
  • PVDF-g-PSSA/PANI nanocomposites, synthesized by a new method, will be used as an active matrix for artificial muscles for the first time in the literature.
